A safari, which is a trip that typically takes place in Africa and allows you to see a multitude of wild animals in their natural habitat, is one of the best holiday excursions you can arrange. The Okavango Delta in Botswana is one of the top safari locations in the world you could visit. It is situated in northern Botswana and is home to thousands of wild animals, including lions, buffalos, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, and rhinos. If you go on an afternoon safari, you can see crocodiles and hippos lazing in the sun at the inland river.
Kenya’s Maasai Mara Reserve is another top-notch safari location. Leopards, lions, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos, also known as the “big five,” can all be found here. The yearly wildebeest migration is the Maasai Mara’s biggest draw, though.
In pursuit of greener pastures on the opposite side of the crocodile-infested Mara River, hundreds of wildebeest cross it yearly during the migration, and many don’t make it across. Named one of the world’s new wonders, the great wildebeest migration occurs from July to October.
The two million hectares Kruger National Park in South Africa is also a very well-liked safari location. There are usually a lot of travelers there hoping to spot the big five and exotic birds.
